Alex Wei ’97

Alex Wei is an art director for film and TV. He is also cofounder of Prevalent, a Burbank based prop house serving the entertainment industry. Alex graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in art history with a focus on architectural history. He began his career in architectural photography and later studied stage design at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London before entering the film industry. Alex serves on the board of the Pasadena Community Foundation and served on Vassar’s President’s Advisory Committee (PAC) from 2017 to 2025. He lives in Pasadena, with his wife Katie (’98) and their two children.
