Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre Spring Concert

Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre presents a series of three Spring Concerts on April 17 at 7 p.m., and April 19th at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The programs feature hip-hop, ballet, modern and contemporary choreography including works by Merce Cunningham and George Balanchine as well as new pieces by faculty and students.

Dance Performance: New Works by Battery Dance, Created in Residence at Vassar

Battery Dance performs two works, a new dance by choreographer Damani Pompey created with dancers of Battery Dance in March, while in residence at Vassar College, and Frontiers, created last year by Rutkay Özpinar for the annual summer Battery Dance Festival.

Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre

Feb. 7, 2025, 7:00 p.m.

Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre performs works created by faculty, students, and guest choreographers, selected from the current repertory. The program includes a special appearance by dancers from the Parul Shah Dance Company, whose work harnesses the expressive power of Indian classical dance to promote cultural understanding and explore questions around identity and humanity.
