Our Many Faces

Location: Frances Daly Fergusson Dance Theater, Kenyon Hall

“Our Many Faces” is an evening of five debut dance works from Vassar student choreographers, exploring faces as a double meaning. The work investigates both our unique characteristics and physical selves, and the various ways we present these selves in different contexts and relationships. We delve into expression as not only an outward reflection of our inner selves, but also a reaction or mirror to how we are perceived by others. The evening situates the body as a unique site for communicating to others and letting ourselves be known, given that there is no more intimate medium of expression.

Presented by Olivia Sparks, Clara Alger, Cecilia Kittross, Ada Lovelace, and Lillian Palmer through DANC-378.

Sponsored by the Vassar College Dance Department.

This event is open to the public, and free tickets are available at vassardance.tix.com.
