Tracy Heather Strain, professor of Film and the Moving Image at Wesleyan University, is co-founder of The Film Posse and an award-winning documentary film director and producer. She is also a writer committed to using film, video, and interactive technology to reveal the ways that race, ethnicity, gender, and class work to shape lives. Professor Strain will lecture on her experiences as a Black woman documentary filmmaker during her visit to Vassar College. All are welcome.
