Ferns

One of the oldest plant groups on Earth, ferns date back almost 400 million years ago in our fossil records. They are also the second most diverse group of vascular plants, right behind flowering plants. Ferns do not flower, instead they produce clusters of spores which can usually be found on the underside of the fronds. Come check out our variety of fern species and see if you can spot the spores!
