This grant award will support invasive species monitoring, assessment, and control this summer on Vassar’s Ecological Preserve, the FAF Sharpe Reservation, Hudson Highlands Land Trust’s (HHLT) Granite Mountain Preserve, and LCC’s Biological Field Station as well as related education and outreach activities.
Vassar College selected as a 2022 Beckman Scholars Program award recipient. Awarded by The Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation, the prestigious program will provide robust faculty-mentored research experiences for a total of six exceptional undergraduate students in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Neuroscience & Behavior.
