Project Coordinator for the Engaging Men Project at Family Services in Poughkeepsie; project which began out of a grant from the U.S. Dept of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women in order to engage men and boys in the prevention of violence against women and girls. The project aims to unite middle school and high school students, college men and women, as well as adult members of the Poughkeepsie community in order to establish a coordinated community response to relationship abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. He also works part-time as a Domestic Abuse Awareness Class (DAAC) facilitator. DAAC is a psycho-educational program for men convicted of domestic violence that encourages participants to identify the qualities of an abusive relationship, take accountability for their abuse, and explore methods of building healthy relationships.
