Please Consider Contributing to the 2027 Community Works Campaign!

Dear friends and colleagues,

The 26th Community Works campaign has officially begun and will continue through December 31, 2026.

Community Works is Vassar’s annual giving campaign for local non-profit organizations. Funded primarily by donations from employees, trustees, and students, Community Works has provided over $1.5 million in grants to over 75 different groups since its inception in 2001. Recipients are selected each year by an employee committee based upon nominations from Vassar College employees.

Our goal: $85,000 from 225 donors

Last fall we received a total of $76,030 in one-time donations and payroll pledges for the 2026 campaign. That was almost a $7,000 increase from the previous year!

100% of all donations will be divided equally and distributed directly to the eight 2027 grant recipients. A single donation will support eight organizations doing wonderful work in our community!

Donate Today! We accept one-time online payments, ACH/wire, checks, or payroll deduction.

Donations are tax-deductible!

Payroll deduction requests must be submitted by December 18, 2026. You will receive an email confirmation once your payroll deduction request is submitted. Deductions from payroll will begin in January 2027 for this campaign. The total donated via payroll will be on your W2 that you receive in 2028 under "Charitable Donations."
