Presentation of the Campus Climate Survey Results

Dear all,

The Engaged Pluralism Initiative (EPI) invites you to join us next Wednesday when Rankin & Associates (R&A) come to campus to present the results of the campus climate survey conducted last spring. Please save the date to come hear R&A staff summarize their findings regarding the responses of the 1,135 Vassar Community members who participated in the survey.

R&A will hold two information sessions on the survey results next Wednesday, November 14:

  • CC MPR (Rm 223) @ 12:30pm – 2:00pm
  • Rocky 200 @ 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Vassar contracted with R&A last fall, upon receiving the Mellon Foundation grant for EPI. The campus climate survey was administered by R&A in April and May of 2018. We expect that the information gathered by R&A will help guide further research and action by EPI constituent individuals and working groups.

We hope that the findings presented may also apprise individuals in various campus offices of our ongoing successes and struggles as we all work together to enact Vassar’s mission of creating a “rich intellectual and cultural environment in which all members, including those from underrepresented and marginalized groups, are valued and empowered to thrive.” Please join us.
