The 39th annual John Iyoya Children's Art Exhibit

Location:

Palmer Gallery

The Iyoya exhibit highlights young children’s interest in the visual arts and encourages their use of the arts to express themselves. The exhibit also highlights the positive difference art teachers can make in the lives of their students by encouraging students to take pride in their work and inspiring a lifelong interest in art.

The exhibit was named after John Iyoya ’83, known for his creativity and love of children.

Join us for the opening reception on March 8 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. The exhibit, open March 8–13, includes art from many local schools, including Orville A. Todd Middle School, Warring Elementary School, Hagan Elementary School, Nassau Elementary School, Lagrange Middle School, Union Vale Middle School, and the DAY ONE Early Learning Community.

Sponsored by Vassar’s Department of Education in cooperation with the Office of Campus Activities.

The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
