Mar. 3, 2:00 p.m. – Mar. 8, 2024
Location:

James W. Palmer Gallery, College Center

The 37th annual Iyoya art exhibit opens on March 3, 2024 with a reception from 2–3:30 p.m. in the James W. Palmer Gallery in Main Building at Vassar College. The exhibit will remain open through March 8. The show includes art from many local schools including Orville A. Todd Middle School, Warring Elementary School, Hagan Elementary School,  Nassau Elementary School, Lagrange Middle School, Union Vale Middle School, Morse Elementary and the DAY ONE Early Learning Community.

This exhibit offers children the chance to be recognized as artists with their own points of view and the desire to express themselves. The show also highlights the positive difference art teachers can make in the lives of their students; they can encourage students to take pride in their work, as well as inspire a lifelong interest in art.

This event is open to the public. It is sponsored by the Department of Education and Campus Activities.
