Justin Touchon, Associate Professor of Biology, is the author of Applied Statistics with R: A Practical Guide for the Life Sciences and Beyond, which was recently published by Oxford University Press. This is the 2nd edition of the book, which uses the statistical language R, a commonly favored stats program throughout the life sciences. The book relies on a large, real-world dataset that teaches readers to become deeply familiar with their data and how to manipulate and visualize it.
