September 1, 2022 – Poughkeepsie, NY – As Vassar’s fall semester begins, students, faculty, and staff at the Town of Poughkeepsie College have a new dining option just off-campus. DeltaPi, a family-owned Greek restaurant, has opened at 60 Raymond Avenue, adjacent to Vassar’s College Store.

DeltaPi’s menu includes all the Greek favorites, such as spanakopita (spinach pie) and a variety of souvlaki dishes, as well as a “Build Your Own Gyro” option. Patrons can eat on the premises or order for pickup online from an extensive menu.

Wesley Dixon, special assistant to the President, said he was hopeful DeltaPi would be a popular dining option for many at Vassar and the Arlington/Poughkeepsie communities. “Greek food is a popular choice for many people’s diets—especially New Yorkers’, and the location couldn’t be more convenient for Vassar and the local community. I am confident our new tenants will be great members of the Arlington business community,” Dixon said.
