My Dear, Cara Mia by Lily Anninger ’25 is an official selection in the 2025 Big Eddy Film Festival and Reel Works Film Festivals

The Film Department is excited that one of our recent graduates Lilly Anninger ’25 has had her film My Dear, Cara Mia accepted by two film festivals. The film is a portrait of one woman’s experience of being unhoused and with addiction, and the work she does now in recovery to support the unhoused community in Poughkeepsie. Last month the film was an official selection in the 2025 Big Eddy Film Festival in Narrowsburg, NY and in November the film will be an official selection at the Reel Works Film Festival.
