National Bike to Work Week at Vassar
A Week of Community and Cycling
Join the Vassar Bike Committee for Vassar’s first Bike to Work Week, a weeklong celebration of sustainable transportation, community, and cycling.
Throughout the week, faculty, administrators, and staff are invited to bike to campus and take part in a series of events designed to build connection and celebrate commuting by bike. Highlights include daily morning group photos, a guided preserve ride, and a Friday happy hour.

Meet fellow cyclists each morning for a quick group photo at locations across campus:
- Monday: New Admissions
- Tuesday: Main Library
- Wednesday: Gordon Commons
- Thursday: The Bridge Building
- Friday: Main Circle, with snacks to refuel your morning commute

Le Tour de Preserve
Tuesday, May 12 | 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Join a guided ride through the Vassar Preserve. Meet outside Skinner Hall on the Raymond side for an afternoon of scenic exploration. This event is open to the entire Vassar community. Registration is recommended.
Bike Talk & Happy Hour
Friday, May 15 | 5:00 p.m.
Join Vassar’s bike community at MOD on Collegeview after work for conversation, community, and the final raffle prize distribution.
