International Efforts to End the Russo-Ukrainian War: International Law, Diplomacy, Advocacy

Location:

The Vassar Institute for the Liberal Arts

The event will host two panels: International Humanitarian Law and War Crimes, and Advocacy Effort Abroad: Diaspora and International Organizations’ Voices, as well as a keynote address from Oleksandra Matviichuk, head of the Centre for Civil Liberties and winner of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize. The Alliance’s aim is to frame an international dialogue towards ending the russo-Ukrainian war, one dimension of which is a conversation between scholarship and praxis. We will hear from experts working towards this end within the Academy, and legal scholars, community-centered leaders, and diplomats. Organized by the Vassar Alliance for Ukraine in collaboration with the Vassar Alliance in Foreign Affairs.

Reservation required. Reserve online.
