Developing Vassar’s Climate Action Plan: A Progress Report from the Engineering Firm Wendel
Rockefeller Hall 300
The architecture and engineering firm Wendel will give a presentation especially for students on the work they are doing to prepare a comprehensive decarbonization plan for Vassar. The Climate Action and Sustainability Committee selected Wendel to identify potential energy efficiency improvements and a menu of projects that can be done to enable the college eventually to eliminate carbon emissions due to building operations by moving to geothermal heat pump heating and cooling systems. Following the presentation by Wendel staff, there will be plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.
Sponsored by the Climate Action and Sustainability Committee, SEED (Students for Equitable Environmental Decisions), and the Office of Sustainability.
