The Game by Solomon Hess ’24: MODfest Reading
Jan 26, 8:00 p.m. and Jan 27, 2:00 p.m.
Location:
Powerhouse Theater
The Game is a play about two men, one White and one Native American, and the relationship they have through, and with, the game of lacrosse. They seek to unpack the history of the game and the differences between White appropriation and appreciation of the sport, through art, activism, and accountability. Nobody wants to watch a play about lacrosse, though.
This play is a recipient of the Marilyn Swartz Seven ’69 Annual Playwriting Award
Open to the public, reservations required.
