Ecoleaders has returned! Our first meeting will be a Birds & Brainstorming meeting on Friday, February 9 from 3:00–5:00 p.m. For the first hour we will spend some time learning about birds with a local naturalist named Ernie, who is part of a local birding club. We’ll learn about the club, their recent Christmas bird count, and the birds found on the preserve! After a short talk, we will head out onto one of our trails to do some birding. Once Ernie leaves us we will have a discussion to plan future Ecoleaders activities!

We will meet at 50 Vassar Farm Lane, which is a 10-20 minute walk from campus depending on where you are coming from. The Vassar Barns have accessible bathrooms, and we will be providing light snacks, coffee, tea, and water. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking, and bring binoculars if you have them! We will have a few to share so no worries if you do not have them.
