Black History Month Morning Gathering

Garden to Celebrate Black Lives (Rain Location: Jeh Vincent Johnson ALANA Cultural Center Community Room)

In celebration of the first day of Black History Month, the Jeh Vincent Johnson ALANA Cultural Center welcomes all to gather at the Garden to Celebrate Black Lives for a presentation by ALANA leaders.

Following the morning gathering, all are welcomed to participate in a special evening celebration that will include lively performances/speeches from students, alums, faculty, administrators, and local community members. There will be food/beverages along with stations featuring a book display curated by ALANA student leaders highlighting Black authors, significant Black figures at Vassar, and more.
