Immerse yourself in the dynamic journey of movement as Battery Dance unveils two new pieces crafted during their transformative three-week residency at Vassar College in March 2024. Both works will premiere this summer.

In collaboration with Vassar College and generously supported by the New York State Council on the Arts, Battery Dance proudly presents an exclusive performance of their new Works-In-Progress by award-winning contemporary choreographers Dolly Sfeir and Robin Cantrell.

Battery Dance connects the world through dance. The Company pursues artistic excellence and social relevance by creating vibrant new works, performing on the world’s stages, and presenting dance in public spaces, including the Battery Dance Festival, their annual outdoor summer dance festival in lower Manhattan, now in its 43rd year. Battery Dance’s repertoire reveals a wide thematic and stylistic range, characterized by choreography and music inspired by worldwide sources, reflecting American society and its multiplicity of cultures.
