Vassar Views: The Art of Tarryl Gabel & Tatiana Rhinevault
Palmer Gallery, College Center
Local Hudson Valley artists Tarryl Gabel and Tatiana Rhinevault celebrate Vassar’s unique architecture and landscapes.
In 2008, the Gabel paintings were commissioned by then Vice President of the Vassar Student Association, Brian Farkas (currently serving on Vassar’s Board of Trustees). Originally displayed in the campus dining center, they were removed when the building underwent renovation in 2016-17. The Palmer Gallery is happy to share them alongside the Rhinevault paintings as an example of how our extended community views and finds inspiration in its neighbor, Vassar College.
