Promoting Government Transparency through the Federal Depository Library Program

Vassar is celebrating its 80th anniversary as a federal government documents depository, marking the Libraries’ commitment to providing free, public access to federal documents since 1943.

Please join us in celebrating this milestone with a talk from U.S. Superintendent of Documents Scott Matheson, who will discuss the value of government information to research and informed citizenry, as well as the history and future initiatives of the FDLP. Light refreshments served and highlights from the Libraries’ government documents collection on view. Campus and community members invited!
