A New Jersey native, Jonathan Littman is CEO of Jerry Bruckheimer Television (JBTV) and a prolific television producer. In 1991, Littman left NBC for the still fledgling FOX network and spent the next six years working in both current programming and drama development, where he was involved in the development and day-to-day management of such hits as Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and The X-Files. In 1997, Littman left FOX to create and run a television division for film producer Jerry Bruckheimer. JBTV has produced some of television’s most successful TV series of the past 25 years starting with the 1999 breakout hit CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which quickly became the number one show in the world. CSI has launched five successful spin-offs. In the 2005-6 season, Bruckheimer had a then record-breaking 10 series on network television including an unbelievable five shows ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. ratings. Following CSI, JBTV rapidly broadened its imprint with such hits as Without a Trace, Cold Case, as well as The Amazing Race (now on season 34), and Lucifer, on Netflix, the most-streamed original series of 2021. In addition, Hightown on Starz has just been renewed for a 3rd season. This year, he will launch two new series, National Treasure (based on the movie franchise) for Disney+, and American Gigolo for Showtime.
