MODfest 2022: Spaces: Vassar Student Reflections on Land and Identity
Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center
For this pop-up exhibition, located in the glass walkway of the Loeb, Vassar student photographers were asked to engage with the themes and content of exhibitions currently on display at the Loeb. The work encompasses their interpretations of such themes as climate crisis, land use, American identity, and the legacy of colonialism. The exhibition has been organized by PHOCUS, Vassar’s photography club. The work we present has been made with these themes in mind and the artists’ work asks viewers to think creatively about the spaces we occupy, physical and otherwise.
