Open casting call: Seeking all with lip syncing abilities for film
Vogelstein 215
Professor Denise Iris is looking for performers to take part in her experimental feature film that uses finger puppets with digitally composited human eyes and mouths. The film follows a test subject for a new psychedelic drug on a fantastical trip to an imaginary planet. Performers will be filmed lip syncing pre-recorded audio interviews. Only their eyes and mouths will be used in the final film. We are looking for a great variety of performers of all ethnicities and ages. No acting experience necessary, only the ability to remember a few lines at a time and lip sync them.
If selected, filming time will vary from 1 hour up to 10 total, depending on the character to be embodied.
Staff and faculty: We would love to include you in this project. We’re willing to work with your schedule! If you can’t make it to the auditions, please reach out to us directly.
