Ford Scholars to Present Their Projects in the Humanities and Social Sciences

Sep. 13, 2021, 5:00 p.m.
Location:

Class of 1951 Reading Room, Main Library

Vassar’s Ford Scholars Program fosters faculty-student collaborations on research projects in the humanities and social sciences. This past summer, students conducted research in a range of projects including gender profit gaps, representation in state courts, climate change, the pandemic effects on airline competition, games designed to make people recycle better, and many more.

Join us to celebrate their research at the Ford Scholars Symposium, where students will present their projects. Newly appointed Dean of Studies Professor Thomas Porcello, Professor of Anthropology, will deliver the keynote address titled, “The Power, Promise, and Potential of Collaborative Research.” For more information, please visit Ford Scholars.

Campus community only, please.
