Nine Vassar students were enrolled for 10 weeks in the College’s Community Fellows Program under the auspices of the Office of Community-Engaged Learning (OCEL). The program matches students’ skills and interests with the needs of not-for-profit and government agencies.

Ada Ferrer ’84, Julius Silver Professor of History and Latin American and Caribbean Studies at New York University, has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book Cuba: An American History.

More than 1,500 alums, friends, and family members were on campus to celebrate Reunion the weekend of June 3–5. Classes spanned 60 years (1957 to 2017) and Reunion participants hailed from an impressive 44 states and 14 countries—traveling from as far away as Vietnam, China, Iceland, and Switzerland.
