Forty alums with a combined 689 years of experience in the field of education gathered on campus recently for the first Education Alumni Reunion.

Devyn Benson ’25 has launched a mentorship program to help young men of color adjust to college life. 

Will Dwyer ’20 has been awarded a three-year Knight-Hennessy Scholars grant to pursue his PhD in molecular biology at Stanford University.

The first weekend of June was a particularly joyous one for Vassar as the College welcomed back more than 1,200 alums from near and far for Reunion. This year Reunion was for classes ending in 3 and 8, but Vassar rolled out the burgundy carpet for 1973, the 50^th Reunion Class.

The Alumnae/i Association of Vassar College (AAVC) has selected five alums to honor for their impact on the College, their communities, and the larger world. Two of these awards were given at Reunion 2023 in early June. The other three will be presented in the coming academic year.

The Dutchess County Historical Society recently presented its annual Dutchess Award to the Loeb for its “exceptional contributions to the Dutchess County community in the areas of preservation, history and/or education.”

Vassar’s Dede Thompson Bartlett Center for Admission and Career Education is the College’s most innovative and sustainable building yet.

Three members of the board of trustees who are retiring this year were honored for their combined 15 years of service to the College at a dinner during Commencement weekend.
