Hello, I’m Olivia! I’m a senior from the California Bay Area. My areas of interest in Media Studies are television and representation in television. When I’m not holding my office hours on Mondays 2–4 p.m. in the OLB Lounge, you can find me working on Portrait, Vassar’s Asian American literary magazine, watching YouTube analyses of my favorite TV shows, or trying to figure out how to make hot pot in a microwave (any tips please let me know!). Hi everyone! My name is Lola Wright and I am one of the MEDS interns this year! I am a senior from Rockland County New York and I am focusing on the consumption of media with regards to business and advertising. I am also on the women’s lacrosse team here at Vassar! Go, brewers! My office hours are Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as well as Fridays 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Hi everyone, I’m Casey, a senior from here in the Hudson Valley! My focuses in Media Studies are audio/audio production, broadcast, and the voice as a medium. In addition to being one of the interns this year, I’m also General Manager of WVKR-FM, Vassar’s independent + student-run radio station, president of the Vastards a cappella group, and I write/perform my own music on the side. My office hours are Thursdays from 1–3 p.m. in the OLB common space. Excited to meet you all. :)
