Accessibility Information

A ramped walkway leads to the entrance, which is located on the north side of the building (across from Kenyon Hall.) There is an accessible gender-neutral restroom on the first floor. Accessible parking is located directly across from the entrance to the Kenyon parking lot.

About Wimpfheimer Nursery School

One of the first laboratory schools in the U.S., the Wimpfheimer Nursery School has had a two-fold mission since it opened in 1927: to provide quality early childhood education and to serve as a laboratory for observation and research on child development and education. The physical structure and furnishings were thoughtfully designed to foster child-centered exploration and learning. The building also features three observation booths that look out onto the classrooms, providing students and faculty opportunities to conduct observational and experimental research.
