Students, faculty, and staff who are in need of accessible parking are permitted to park in any designated accessible parking space on campus with a parking permit. Persons with city or state-issued accessibility license plates or placards do not need to apply for a temporary permit.

To obtain a Vassar temporary accessible-parking permit:

• Students: a physician’s letter must be provided to the Office for Accessibility, stating the reason for the permit and the duration needed.
• Employees with a documented temporary condition that impairs their mobility may request a temporary disability parking permit from Health Services.
