Ed Buie II secures ACCESS research grant
Ed Buie II, Assistant Professor of Astronomy, secured an ACCESS research grant for supercomputing time on the Anvil Supercomputer at Purdue University for his project in “Exploring the Impact of Varying Star-Forming Backgrounds and Turbulent Conditions on Non-Equilibrium Chemistry in Simulated Galactic Halos.”

Black History Month Features a Wealth of Celebrations

Students, administrators, alums, and others in the Vassar community enjoyed a plethora of events in observation of Black History Month, included  exhibitions, a panel on STEM-related fields, a dinner, and an update of the Buildings and Belonging project, focused on the history of African Americans on campus.
