French and Francophone Studies
Department

The department offers numerous language, culture, literature, and film courses taught in French. Enhancing study are multimedia classrooms and access to daily newscasts from France. Majors are encouraged to spend one or two semesters of their junior year in France with the Vassar-Wesleyan Program in Paris or in other French-speaking countries. Options include the major and a correlate sequence.
