Salvador Contes Jr. is a distinguished educator and leader with a proven record of enhancing academic outcomes through strategic leadership and technological innovation. Holding a doctorate from Pace University and a certificate in School Management & Leadership from Harvard GSE, he has served in various capacities, including as an adjunct professor and as a director and principal in the NYC Department of Education and other school districts. His administrative achievements include increasing graduation rates by up to 16% and reduced absenteeism by 17%. A pioneer in educational technology, he has successfully managed large-scale infrastructure projects, including a complex system migration, and launched a city-wide computer forensics program and an online student performance tracking tool used by over 450 schools. Contes is also a noted speaker and presenter, an advisor for Tech & Learning Magazine, and a board member for Mid-Hudson Teacher Center.
