Students from 10 colleges—as well as top administrators—gathered for the day-long Signature Program aimed at broadening museum audiences.
Students in Museums Summit brought together students from college-based museums across the Northeast to discuss contemporary issues shaping museums and cultural institutions today.

Through workshops, keynote presentations, collaborative conversations, and networking opportunities, participants explored student leadership, museum accessibility, curation, and the future of arts institutions.
The summit emphasized peer-to-peer learning and the importance of supporting emerging museum professionals through collaborative and interdisciplinary engagement.
Students valued the opportunity to engage in conversations about leadership, accessibility, and the future of museum work while developing their skills and professional networks. Attendees also highlighted the summit’s welcoming atmosphere and collaborative spirit, which helped strengthen relationships among student museum organizations and cultural institutions across the region.
