Work for the Office of Admissions!

Job Description: Interviewing candidates for the Class of 2006

· Flexible Hours
· No Pay
· Satisfying Work
· Terrific Perks
· Meeting wonderful high school students
· Talking about your alma mater
· Receiving letters from those you interview like this one:

"Overall, you gave me an extremely positive impression of Vassar that further enhanced the opinions I had previously. You conveyed a greater appreciation of the distinctive opportunities that the college offers than I could have possibly ascertained from the glossy bulletins that I received in the mail."

During 2000-2001, 816 Vassar alumnae and alumni interviewed 2,015 applicants to the Class of 2005. However, the Office of Admission had to disappoint many applicants who wanted to meet with a Vassar graduate. Why? We do not have enough interviewers. You can remedy this situation by joining the AAP (Alumnae/Alumni Admission Program). All training provided by the Office of Admission. All enthusiasm provided by you.
