Grants for Researchers
Due to Covid-19, the Grants for Researchers program is temporarily suspended. We will announce its resumption after researchers are again able to visit the Library.
With the support of Charlotte I. Hall (VC '54), the Vassar College Archives & Special Collections Library is pleased to offer grants for researchers who would like to use our collections on-site.
The grants are available to undergraduate and graduate students, independent scholars, and faculty attached to academic institutions.
Amount and Duration
A limited number of grants are available in amounts up to $500.
Applications are due March 15, 2020. The grants can be used between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.
Applicants should send the following materials to Ronald Patkus, Associate Director of the Libraries for Special Collections (firstname.lastname@example.org):
- Letter describing the research project, and how the collections at Vassar will be used to support it. Not to exceed two pages.
- Curriculum Vitae, with names and contact information of two references. Not to exceed two pages.
