Grief and Loss Support Space

This virtual gathering space is for all members of the Vassar community who are dealing with loss and grief—of a family member or friend, or, more generally, this challenging time. This offering is a collaboration across Counseling Service and Religious and Spiritual Life and Contemplative Practices. Facilitators are Wendy Freedman and Sam Speers.

We offer this space to:

  • Be with your emotions, thoughts, and reactions without judgment.
  • Approach your grief without fear as part of what it means to be human.
  • Explore practices and other supports to help you get through this.

Spring Semester Dates:

Tuesdays, 3:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.

on February 23, March 16, April 13, May 11
