Admission Remains Open

Vassar College remains open to the public, but is closely monitoring the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak. At this time, the Office of Admission will continue to conduct weekday campus tours and information sessions. While Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently declared a State of Emergency in New York State, Vassar is located in Dutchess County, where there are currently no restrictions on travel or large gatherings.

We understand that some families may choose not to travel at this time. Please know that while we encourage visits to our campus generally, your application to Vassar will not be jeopardized in any way if you do not visit during this time. We encourage you to make the decision that is best for your family.

Vassar is re-evaluating all policies daily, and will post an update here if there is a change in status regarding on-campus visits and other admission programming. Additionally you can find out more about Vassar’s response to COVID-19 on our coronavirus webpage.
