Fusing cutting-edge science and age-old puppetry, DIRT takes audiences on an extravagant journey of discovery into the Great Underneath—opening the curtain on the epic alchemy of plants, the fungi's dance of mutual delight, and the microbes' herculean labors. Featuring live music and a myriad of puppets ranging from 12" to 12' tall, the show reminds earthly residents of all ages quintessential truths from the ground beneath their feet.
A tour of Poughkeepsie Farm Project will take place prior to the show at 6 p.m. on August 4. The show will begin at 7 p.m. For further information contact Addison Tate, Environmental Cooperative, (845) 437-5370.
This event is sponsored by the Poughkeepsie Farm Project and the Environmental Cooperative at the Vassar Barns.
