Randolph Hollingsworth '78

It was a joy to be a part of the History Majors organization at Vassar.  We were included in important department decisions and always felt that our voices were heard. In fall 1978 we organized a party in the beautiful parlor at Joss and everyone dressed as a "historical period." The suit of armour from Swift Hall was the guest of honor (yes, we got in big trouble for moving him using my old International Harvester Travelall truck). There were many fantastic costumes especially among the faculty who attended, and all had fun. I had started up the Matthew's Minstrels that fall, and we sang several French ditties that were X-rated in the 17th century.
