Yumiko Naito

Visiting Instructor in Chinese and Japanese

Yumiko Naito received her master’s degree in Japanese Pedagogy at Columbia University in 2008.  She was a language fellow at Vassar from 2007 to 2008. After that, she worked at several universities such as Colby College and Washington and Lee University.

Her research interests include Taishu-Engeki (popular theater), and she has travelled with a troupe all over Japan for her research. She is interested in using Japanese traditional performing arts as a part of language education.
