The Vassar College Choir performed Handel’s oratorio Jephtha in Skinner Hall along with an orchestra of “some of the best freelancing musicians in New York City,” and a solid group of soloists. “Perhaps the most pleasant surprise of the afternoon was the Vassar College Choir which fully exploited the choruses of the oratorio, featuring some of Handel’s greatest choral writing.
