Outdoor Space Chapel Lawn
The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, in partnership with the Department of Film, is pleased to offer three free outdoor screenings to compliment its Fall exhibit "Miracles on the Border: Retablos of Mexican Migrants to the United States" (9/5-12/13). Like the exhibit, this short series of Mexican films highlights themes of ritual, devotion (religious and otherwise), and movement (both individual and collective). The films range from classics of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, to comedies of manners, to exciting, genre-defying new stories of solidarity. The films will be screened at 7pm on the lawn near the Loeb on Sept. 17, Sept. 24, and Oct. 1, with a rain date of Oct. 8th. There will be twenty seats available for each screening, within social distancing circles, on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve a spot at one of the screenings, please go (EVENT SITE COMING SOON). Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations or information on accessibility should contact the Campus Activities Office, 845 437 5370
