POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – “Tag Yourself,” an exhibition featuring new independent works by 10 students in Vassar College's art studio program, opens on Friday, December 1 in College Center, Palmer Gallery. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, runs through December 12.
“Tag Yourself” is a student organized show of independent work for art students who are not taking part in the senior majors’ show. These include seniors who are not making a senior project such as a correlate, a junior or sophomore major or correlate, or someone who is making independent work in the context of the studio art program. The exhibition is not for class work but independent work or summer work made by the students.
Artists exhibiting include: Siyue Fan '18, Anthony Bartolotta '18, Lily Carlsen '19, Maggie Chen '20, Rose Clarfeld, '19, Saskia Globig '19 René Herrera '19, Dakota Peterson '19, Helen Shu '19, Anja Zhou '19. Drawing, sculpture, painting, and mixed media works will be on view.
