Snapshot Safari

In the new Build Your Own Adventure Program organized by the Office of Residential Life, 40 first-year students on Snapshot Safari had the opportunity to strike out into their new hometown. On walking tours to the Vassar Farm and to the Hudson River Waterfront, these new additions to the Vassar community viewed their surroundings through a different lens- a camera's. The program was sponsored by Phocus, Vassar's photography club, which will also be hosting an exhibition of images captured on the walks as well as others starting Parents' Weekend (Sept. 29) and running until October Break (October 12.) The photos will be on display in the Faculty Commons.
